but now that some idiot made this they’ll figure out a way to make it so you cant do this anymore.
Yea no. I seriously doubt Tumblr or Google will change the way their products work just because some guy made a gif set. This works because information has to be sent from Tumblr to your browser. Normally we only see what is played or displayed but every piece of data you see on your browser has been sent to you by a website to you. But using this built in feature of Google Chrome you are able to see the raw file that Tumblr has sent for the browser to interpret and display. So unless Tumblr really wants to completely change the way their website works, I seriously doubt I’ll be responsible for them “figur[ing] out a way to make it so you cant do this anymore”
I was mostly referring to soundcloud since its a music hosting site and if you can get any of the music for free they’re not really doing their job and are letting down musical artists because of it.. but thanks for your input.
